Neymar’s world-record transfer to Paris Saint-Germain appears to be well and truly on.
The 25-year-old Brazilian superstar had returned to Barcelona after briefly flying to China for a promotional event after Barca’s preseason tour to the U.S. ended last weekend, but he is not back in action for the Blaugrana.
Barca have released a short statement where they confirmed new head coach Ernesto Valverde gave Neymar the day off training on Wednesday, and then later on Wednesday Barcelona released the following statement as they confirmed his intentions to leave.
“The player Neymar Jr, accompanied by his father and agent, has informed FC Barcelona this morning of his decision to leave the club in a meeting held at the club’s offices. Faced with this position, the club has informed them they refer to the buy-out clause of his existing contract which as of 1 July totals 222 million euros which will have to be deposited in its entirety.

“Furthermore, in reply to the claim for the contract extension bonus, the club has once again made it clear that the amount remains deposited with a notary until the case is resolved. The player remains under contract at FC Barcelona but with temporary permission to not take part in training sessions.”
Reports in Spain state that Neymar arrived at the training ground on Wednesday morning and spent about 40 minutes in the building before leaving. Multiple outlets in Spain are reporting that the captain of the Brazilian national team told his Barca teammates he is leaving for PSG.
Neymar has a release clause of $262 million in his current Barca contract and it is believed PSG are willing to meet that, plus make him the best paid player in the world with wages of over $52.9 million per year.
Les Parisiens aren’t messing around and neither is Neymar as his exit at the Nou Camp edges ever closer. He has spent the past four seasons at Barca, playing in 186 games, scoring 105 goals and adding 59 assists on his way to six major trophies including a UEFA Champions League trophy and three La Liga titles.
The biggest transfer deal in soccer history know seems like a formality.

Neymar knew what he was getting himself into when he signed for Barcelona. Lionel Messi was then as he is now; top man. The Argentine forward’s new contract will see him extend his reign as king of the club until 2021.
Neymar’s made all the right noises about Messi that Barcelona like to hear. “Hero”, “idol”, “best in the world” are all terms at one stage or another used by the Brazil captain to describe Messi.
With another four-year deal on the table, there is little chance of anyone let alone Neymar breaking through the glass ceiling and dislodging Messi from his perch as lord of all he surveys.
But Neymar has ambitions. He has ambitions to win trophies – like any top player – and ambitions to win individual honours too. He wants a status that befits his own perceptions of himself; top man in a top team.
He will have to move to get it.
Barcelona could have made the brave decision this summer and faced down the impossible question. Should we sell Messi? They declined. There was a brief opportunity in which they could have taken the funds for Messi and reinvented the entire team using Neymar as a spearhead.
He proved in the game against Paris St-Germain in the Champions League quarter-finals that he was capable of carrying Barca. He has been doing similar for Brazil for a long time now. He thrives on it. But they didn’t and he can now never step out of Messi’s shadow.
He can never win the Ballon d’Or so long as he’s on the same team as Messi. He can’t even play No.10.
PSG’s decision to activate Neymar’s €222m buyout clause is a massive power play. It makes sense for them despite the dizzying fee and it is a perfect opportunity for Neymar too.
The club have been embarrassed in the last two editions of the Champions League; most humbling was their 6-1 trouncing at the hands of Neymar and Co. at Camp Nou in the spring. They have lost their status as French Ligue 1 champions to Monaco. They are in desperate need of a lift.
PSG have got to realign their project and what better way of doing that than hiring a Champions League winner from a rival club for a world record fee? He is a winner and will demand they get up to his standards.
Jennifer Lawrence has seen personal photos of herself — in which she was nude and in private, sexual situations — splashed across the Internet. So do you think she’s crying over her so-called “stripper pole romp” in Austria that tabloid Radar Online posted? Spoiler: No.
Hours after the website published video, taken on April 27, of Lawrence “cutting loose like a low-rent gogo dancer in a Euro-trash strip club” (who writes this stuff?) in which she, according to the story, “takes off her top, grinds on a hunk, and spanks her own behind,” the Oscar winner laughed off the story in true J.Law style.
“Look, Nobody wants to be reminded that they tried to dance on a stripper pole by the internet,” Lawrence wrote on Facebook Wednesday. “It was one of my best friend’s birthdays and I dropped my paranoia guard for one second to have fun. I’m not going to apologize, I had a BLAST that night.”
As for the part of the story that claimed Lawrence, who was reportedly drunk for the romp, was “only wearing a bra” for some of the “scandalous dancing” at the Beverly Hills Club in Vienna, she had a PS.
“That’s not a bra,” she added. “It’s an Alexander Wang top and I’m not gonna lie, I think my dancings pretty good. Even with no core strength.”
For the record, Lawrence did not address the claim in the report that “she kissed one guy, and even started dry-humping him.” The actress, who is filming Red Sparrow in Austria, has been dating Darren Aronofsky since last year.
But, again, Lawrence has been through much, much, much worse than this. (Did we say much?) The Kentucky native was one of the female celebs who had personal photos hacked from Apple and Google accounts between 2012 and 2014. The pics began appearing online in September 2014 in an incident later known as “the Fappening” and “Celebgate.” A Pennsylvania man was convicted for illegally accessing more than 100 accounts; Lawrence called the photo leak a “sex crime.”
So come at her with something better than dancing drunk on a stripper pole in a public place, ya hear?
Is There a Difference Between Posting Photos in a Bathing Suit vs. in Underwear?
Netherlands-based personal trainer and nutrition coach, Roos, spreads body positivity through her popular Instagram account fitroosje. In a recent post she hit her followers with a question that’s honestly been plaguing us for awhile: When it comes to posting photos while wearing swimwear versus wearing underwear, what exactly is the difference?
Roos posted side-by-side photos of herself — one in a bikini bottom and one in underwear — both showing roughly equal amounts of skin. Then in the caption she got into the weird double standard that comes up depending upon which clothing item you’re wearing.
“A lot of people will judge when you post a picture in underwear, but not when you post one in bikini,” she begins the caption. “But what exactly is the difference? Only because a bikini has different material? Or that we are used to see people at the beach in bikini and not in underwear?”
Rihanna has many, many skills. One of her most under-sung skills however, is taking clothing items that looks remarkably weird or boring or wrong elsewhere and turning them into highly-coveted fashion staples once they grace her body. Her fans have caught onto this gift, and many of them lovingly refer to it as fashion witchcraft.
The latest example of her sorcery is evident in the new music video for her song with DJ Khaled and Bryson Tiller, “Wild Thoughts.” In the video, Rihanna wears a loss-fitting, chiffon, turquoise dress by Italian designer, Alberta Ferretti. On the Ferreti website, the dress looks proper, almost matronly. On Rihanna, the dress looks decidedly different.

The “Hot Convict” strikes again.
Model Jeremy Meeks, who went viral a few years ago after his handsome mugshot appeared on Facebook, took the Milan runways by storm this past weekend. Not bad for someone who was released from prison in March 2016.
Meeks modeled two looks at Philipp Plein’s men’s spring 2018 show:

Assertiveness. A clear vision. Looks that tell everyone you’re in charge are the traits of a #boss.
Well, Kim Kardashian has asserted her way to the top of the entertainment industry. Kim Kardashian knows exactly what she wants. And now, Kim Kardashian has reminded us that when it’s time to get things done, there’s only one thing to wear: the power suit.
On Tuesday, Kardashian exited a New York City building in a navy two-piece that honestly has the potential to be worn both in the boardroom and at a super chic dinner with people you’re hoping to impress. You’d think there’s nothing flattering about a double-breasted navy pinstripe suit with dramatic, structured shoulders, but the star made the look plain sexy. It screamed business, but she also managed to give it a feminine twist, tailoring it to hug her waist and letting the pant legs flare at the bottom for a more loose-fitting appeal
